From its beginnings in 1982 this Foro Shakespeare forum for private events in Mexico City theatrical space was known as for its incredible artistic events and spaces. Indeed, was the producer and businessman Héctor Fuentes who founded the bookstore specialized in theater called The Shakespeare Company, inaugurated by playwrights Sergio Magaña and Víctor Hugo Rascón Banda that same year.
Therefore, there was already a need for an alternative forum to the commercial and subsidized theatrical spaces, so in 1983, after the reconstruction of the houses adjacent to the original bookstore, this space was inaugurated with a series of dramatized readings.
Nowadays you can host all kind of events in here!

Likewise, today they have three spaces available for your season: presentation, recording, event, conference, workshop (whatever you need to execute your project).
That is to say Main Forum, with capacity for 190 people; the Urgent Space 2 for 58, and the Theatrino (inside the restaurant), for 35
